Our experience

We've been working on web sites since before most people had even heard of the web, so we're not learning on the job, we're not figuring it out for ourselves, and we're not hoping it all works like the manual says it should.

When it comes to developing web sites and online services, chances are we've done it before. We've been successful as web developers, specialising in dynamic and interactive sites for organisations such as Sainsbury's, Barclays Bank and Berry Bros. & Rudd.

We're extremely experienced commercial software developers, and have built complex software systems for government, the military, and large corporations such as Seagram, Hewlett-Packard and JP Morgan. We've written back-ends and front-ends, device drivers and databases, embedded systems and end-user applications.

We've run or developed business-critical computer infrastructures for the likes of Walt Disney, NatWest and GlaxoWellcome, so we know how online services can be designed for scalability, security and performance. We also know how to recognise and diagnose faults in complex systems, and how to get them fixed.

We apply all this diverse experience to help us manage the process, resolve conflicting priorities, design for change, make the computer do the leg-work, and ultimately ensure that money is being well spent.
